John Wires, B.A., J.D.
wires/law was founded by John Wires, a business and technology lawyer called to the bar in 2011. Coming from a corporate commercial litigation background, John understands the value of protecting businesses with upfront legal work.
John regularly advises software companies, app developers, e-commerce retailers, SAAS platforms and other technology-driven businesses. He is the author of The Law for Founders: A Guide to Protecting Your Startup and has been featured in the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, CBC News, Financial Post and TechVibes.
He has been a guest lecturer at Toronto Metropolitan University, Communitech in Waterloo, the Canadian Bar Association's national conference, and the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development.
